you know, someone that never fails to amuse me is,
myself. three years and beyond ago when hawkers shout,
"BOY, 要吃什么?" (boy, what you want to eat)
never ever fails to crack me up. and just this afternoon nursing my headache at home, i decided to view the pictures taken when mom jing and i went to South Korea around four years back.
realised how geek/nerd-ish jing looks and how i look like a cute boy next to him! HAHA. people used to think we were twins as he was my height and i didn't look anything like a
SISTER.
i miss those berms! i think either it was given or thrown away already. sad.. could've made used of it now.
anyway, other than getting embarrassed hawkers calling me "boy", i get little girls asking their moms while we're in the ladies going,
"mommy, why is that korkor in the girls' toilet?"
the mom will then hush her up and speak in a whisper,
"sshh.. that one is not korkor, is jiejie.."
HAHAHAHA. that was discreet (:
but i guess the major problem last time that got me mistaken as a boy were my baggy clothes and the way i behave. i mean like, even if i had that length of hair now, i don't believe anyone would still mistake me as a guy who wears dresses and tanks and with two something protruding at the front? (X
another story, i had my toenail knocked off by the main door while leaving home and it bled like crazy. i sound so calm even though it hurt pretty badly that day. the whole nail was just hanging by the cuticle area for like two-three weeks.
till after butterfactory on ladies' night, after many heels and sneakers massaging on it, the nail finally got loose and i plucked it out after showering (:
i can safely say that this holiday has been very fulfilling. in a sense that i tried and did so many things, was ecstatic but was infuriated too. the highs and lows of this holiday made it so memorable. and glad that it wasn't just about partying through the nights.
i'll update in more details when the pictures are in. so continue to be grossed out by beautiful toe! i love you guys (:
