alright update on prom night!! actually, reached home around 2am plus plus this morning and wanted to come online. but in the end, decided that sleep was like a better option so yeah, blogging now.

yesterday, woke up at 8am to go for trials at tj. blah! i love the feel of tabletennis man!! though i still haven't got back my form but think it was quite alright. was super tired after the whole training and i slept at the tj sports complex while waiting for cass and grace to come back from their shower. gosh! i really love sleeping at the sports complex! got really cool breeze and it was quite quiet. xD when cass and grace came back, we went for lunch with dangshi (is that how is his name spelt?) at the market opposite tj. recently, i get loads of craving for hor fun!! LOL!! so yea, ordered hor fun. xD after lunch, they left for the opposite direction while i went home to get ready for prom.

at home, my aunt had already arrived at my house and she was planning how she was going to go about doing my makeup. she did my nails too!! LoL. alright, they look nice. haha. so like i went off to do my hair at 4pm at whitesands jeanyip. the hair was WHOA. the first time i saw myself with neat straight hair. haha. the person did plaits at the top and it was pure PAIN!! LoL. seriously! she put gel on the part where she wanted to plait and PULLED real hard. i was like wincing a little but she didn't notice. haha. and i realised!! she placed like 17 hairpins in my head!! LOL. then after the hairdo, went home for the makeup. i must say, my aunt's pretty good at this stuff. haha. even when i was so uncomfortable with the mascara, she managed to get everything done! haha. so left the house around 5.45pm to fetch foong and zhihang in my dad's car.

arriving at marriott, i couldn't recognise so many people!! everyone's so pretty and handsome! then started taking pictures with friends at the cocktail area. the service was average or actually, quite poor considering it was the Marriott hotel. sigh. the dinner was ok. found the appetizer the most appealing part of the meal. had like drunken chicken? and also sweet and spicy vermicelli, salad, deep fried chicken rolls... aaahhh!! i'm getting hungry again. LoL. i quite like the mushrooms course. haha. anyway, wasn't really paying attention to the performance cause my view was blocked and the food was distracting. haha. but really appreciate the efforts during the performance of the nominees of prom kings and queens. oh, secondary three SCs, you guys need to work on your dancing, seriously. then like the MCs were pretty much self-entertaining. LoL. so after dinner, the prom king and queen was announced and they are hari and huiyi respectively. best couple was won by shyang long and yulan. haha. yeah, they were pretty cute as a couple. heh. so most of the people went to boogie at the dancefloor. haha. took somemore pictures and then went home when it ended.

yup that's all! and i'll never put on makeup unless required! it's hard trying to remove them! hmph!

i think that one of God's most wonderous creations is a HUG! saw this video at ninny's blog and i was pretty inspired to blog about it. LoL.

don't you think hugs are wonderous? they heal the broken hearted and comfort the wavering soul. imagine yourself having a really bad day - arguing with parents, friends being too busy for you, the first step you make out of the house and you land on some poop. hell it sucks right? or maybe you are just feeling so low that day because of some major disappointment. while you dragged yourself around, those negative feelings follow you everywhere! suddenly, somebody or a friend comes by and gives you a big warm hug. you'd just crumble in his/her arms. the feeling of being loved is what a hug provides.

that's what the big Daddy up there is all about. giving you loads of hugs and loads of love. even when you're down in your deepest lowest pit of your life, He will not hesitate to pull you out of the pit. then He hugs you gently and whispers, "Daddy's here, don't cry. everything's going to be alright." so whether you want to accept that hug, it's your choice. God has already reached out, would you take the next step?

well anyway, back to hugs. think one of the biggest joy in my life is hugging someone and being hugged. yup, feels great. i remember the time when i got back my prelim results. it wasn't that bad compared to what i used to get. but it didn't meet my expectations. i felt horrible and i was constantly faced with comparison of results. many insensitive comments were thrown at me and all i could do was to pretend i didn't care. yet when i'm alone in macs studying and waiting for seniors to arrive, those thoughts of being "stupid" kept running through my mind. however i held back those tears as i didn't want to spoil it for anyone. unfortunately, or should i say fortunately? during church, i felt God's presence so strongly and i felt myself in His arms. finally, those tears that i've held back so long ran down my face. why didn't someone hug me sooner? i realised i didn't allow myself to be hugged. LoL. what a contradiction! oh! i remember hugging someone! haha. well, i've actually hugged alot of people! haha.

alright, got to sleep early tonight. need to wake up to play tabletennis tomorrow at tj. is it the trials? anyway, wish me luck!

watched a really cool movie today! STEP UP! xD love it nuts! haha. man, the people in the show dance really well!! wish i could do that too. haha. blah!! i want to learn hiphop! LoL.

anyway, today was quite fun. met up with some friends for tabletennis and pool then movie. haha. realised how much my skills have deteoriated. LoL. sigh, i want to get back my form!! then i can smash at will. haha.

2ho4 chalet was funfunfun! xD did some crazy stuff. LoL. phew, i survived! haha.

anyway, changed my blogskin again!! haha. well, the previous one was like quite depressing looking. LoL. didn't really suit my mood so i decided to get rid of it. xD so like i went searching for plain blogskins to edit. in the end, i found this. originally, the post section was longer and had no picture at all. so feeling bored and having a lot of time, i found a picture from some of my files which i find it quite cute. LoL. so, i added in the picture and made the post section shorter so that everything could be fitted into a page. yup, and this was the result! nice?

sigh, it could've been better though. if i had photoshop and understood more about html codes. haha. anyone want to loan me photoshop or teach me html coding? xD

i just realised!! i haven't told you guys about my shopping trips!! haha. ok, i'm just bored. xD

anyway, did loads of shopping since last thursday ( nov16 ). and i feel woots!! LoL. it's like the most accomplished feeling ever! know why? i managed to buy stuff efficiently!! ok, that's lame. but seriously, i used to go shopping and end up with nothing when i go home! as in, i can't make up my mind and in the end i didn't buy anything. =/ sad right? well, didn't happen! xD

so i spent quite alot already. haha. i'm broke. ok, maybe not me, my mom's broke. haha. anyway, bought two shirts in total, both sleeveless ( one's a tank top ). then, bought a pair of pants which are quite cute. LoL. those knee-length type with buttons at the sides. hmm, bought a pair of girly shoes, white. ooh!! i bought two pairs of er-hems!! haha. and like three of the bottoms. xD if you don't understand what i'm typing, just ignore that part. heh. and erm, i bought myself a bikini!! LOL!! something that i thought i'd never touch in a lifetime. haha. guess i suddenly felt like it and POOF!! i bought it!! hee. i quite like it. it's blue with some floral patterns. makes me feel enthusiatic about going tanning or swimming!! haha. don't worry, i won't wear it when you all are there. scared you all nose bleed. =x ahahaha. i'm crapping. OH!! i didn't buy any accessories, sad. it's OK! i think i've bought enough. my legs deserve a good rest. xD

oh! going off for 2h chalet tomorrow!! hope it doesn't rain. DON'T RAIN k? though rain is really hot and really really cute. xD blah, i watch too much of his shows already!! but i can't help it!! he's too adorable!! *squeals* LoL.

my room is dusty. LoL! well, i did some packing today. haha. usually i can't be bothered to clean my room but today was an exception. saw my little brother clearing stuff from the stairs of our bed. then! i suddenly felt really motivated to clean my room. LoL! that's how i started packing. lame right?

anyway, was having dinner with some church people. then!! saw some students actually MUGGING FOR COMBINED SCIENCE MCQ!!! then xiong and i was like ---> O.O shucks what are we doing? LoL! ok, i'm starting to feel quite guilty. haha.

finally after all the exams, they give us a break. thus, i'm at home feeling kind of bored and started browsing through my photo albums. and whoa! Mr. Time just flew past. just realised how quick has this year been passing. it's like just yesterday i was still procrastinating about studying for 'O's and vola!! I AM TAKING THE 'O'S NOW!! LoL. so yea. looking at those pictures really brought back memories that are so dear to my heart. hmm, shall upload a few for you guys to see. haha.



[ ChiangMai 2005 ] it was such a memorable trip where i learnt loads of stuff. and i saw the beautiful creations of the Lord our God and dearest Father in Heaven.



[ ahstt'06 B'div girls ] the competitions we went through together. those tough trainings, unhappiness, bonding, are so cherished in my heart. i'll never forget this season of the competition. love you girls forever!


in the end!! through peseverence!! we got CHAMPION in East Zone! you know how much that means to me? ever since secondary one, we didn't win anything. to be blunt, we sucked. training after training we worked hard. finally, we got 4th in East Zone in 2005. that was a start. 2006? we finally got it! hope the juniors really work hard and continue to win those competitions!



remember that night at 85? hope you all do. i'll never forget it.



after those competitions, the secondary fours went out with jL for a treat!! haha. though not everyone was present, it was memorable still. WOW!



SQUEEZE PLEASE!! whoa. i remember this!! we were preparing for the Holy Week 2006. gosh, we really suffered in margeret jie's van. haha. wait! what's that smell?? xD



the first time i led worship for cell with ninny!!! had so much fun preparing for it. LoL.

and what happens when you feel extremely no life during the period of mugging for 'O's? go night cycling with the church people!! haha. enjoyed "motivating" anna and qixi during the trip. LoL! it was tiring but fun nonetheless. i remember that this was around one week before 'O's!! haha. happening.

wow, i'm only left with Additional Mathematics (full paper), geography paper one and science paper one!! just in a flash my 'O's is almost over. which is kind of scary i guess cause it didn't seem like such a BIG thing after all. maybe it's cause i started slacking quite abit already. well, so far it's been alright except for english and literature. sigh, i wish my language was better.

but heck. someone told me that since i've already come till this point, there shouldn't be a reason why i'm scared. yea, so i guess i'll just have to think positive and pray really hard.

God have mercy on me. PLEASE!

can't wait for 'O's to end. got loads of activities coming up!! haha. i think i need more clothes. those chalets and camps are going to "wear" me out!! LoL! seriously, i need more clothes!! lucky for 2h chalet can wear all my jerseys. haha. or else when i wear jerseys for the church camp, it would be kind of weird cause i'd be the only person wearing it! haha. OH SHUCKS!! i need more time too! to get stuff for prom. i realise i'm really bad at shopping and stuff. help help??

while waiting for my bus to arrive, i noticed this girl who apparently didn't mind showing off her butt. you know? the too tight jeans that slips when you sit down which ends up leaving your butt forcing their way out to breathe? LoL. so like i noticed this uncle who kept sticking his head out of the lane so i stared at him. only did i realise he was staring pleasurably at the girl's butt! wow. so i stared hard at that pervert and he noticed a very stern me. LoL. unfortunately for the girl, that old guy kept staring till i took out my handphone and pretended to take pictures of him salvaging at the butt when he stopped looking.

Welcome to The Black Parade - My Chemical Romance

hmm, not sure how many of you would like this song. i just like the first part. LoL!
anyway, just here to waste my time while i wait for my ipod to load the songs. haha.
then about today, went to macs to study at first. then there was this piece of paper stuck on the cafe tables which said:

whoa. firstly, it should be NO STUDYING. *beep* wrong tense! but i need to congratulate them on their effort of trying to communicate to the teenagers. know why? they used short form!! they said "THX" instead of "THANKS". LoL! bah anyway, i sat there feeling kind of weird cause there was an unusual decrease in the number of students studying in macs. so went to 201 macs to find ninny and her friend shirley there. well, it was quite fun. but i must say this! 201 macs is LOUSY compared to tamp macs! i mean the food! you see, i ordered the foldover and the vege was pale green and yellow!! yuck. in tamp macs, those lettuces would be fresh green! LoL. well, that wasn't the worst part. soon, i realised that the foldover started to leak. as in LITERALLY! some yellowish "juice" kept dripping. and it was like some kind of discharge. LoL! disgusting. oh then i was studying geography. and was like scribbling the processes of physical weathering. and scribbling meant writing really fast and not really understanding what you're writing. in the end, the sentence turned out so funny!!

- minerals in some rocks absorb water causing them to smell

wait!! smell??!! i meant swell. LoL! so the three of us were there laughing like fools.
then the manager came in and started to blow up balloons, which the three of us were eyeing on! haha. so when the poor manager turned, we took some balloons!! hahaha. and there was this funny sound made when the balloon was blown up. goes like "pphhhhooooossshhhh". so like there were these four malay guys acting like clowns. they started swaying to one side whenever they hear that stupid sound. LoL.

around evening, went back to tamp to find nehneh and SOMEBODY. LoL. then i taught nehneh some math and she started getting all brain dead. LoL. so decided to go off and get that bubble tea. so around 7pm, i went back to dear old tamp macs to study till like 10plus when little brother came over and mom drove us home.

that was my day. silly.
