ever wondered what's the worst torture that people used in the past? well, it's called the black box. it works by placing a "prisoner" inside a small container that is painted completely black. then, the person will be kept in darkness throughout the torture. what's so scary about the black box is the confinement in a tight space where the person cannot even move slightly out of position. furthermore, the person will have no encounter with light through the time of imprisonment. sadly, the person can't die too. cause the "torturers" will give water and make sure the person survives. well, most don't anyway as they die from insanity.
when i first heard about the black box, it didn't appear as scary as it seems. until i tried sitting in a position for the whole day!! it sucks.
well, i concluded that the limited room for movement wasn't the scariest part of it anyway. actually, the worst part of the black box is the solitary wait. it is when the person can only look forward to the release when the "torturers" give water or brainwash them.
waiting.
i guess alot of stuff runs through a human's mind while waiting. it's a time when a human is most vulnerable to satan's attack. just today, when i was waiting for cass's mom to fetch me, i felt so many emotions! worst of all, they were all negative. i mean like, no one likes to wait for people too long of a period. frustration sums up with impatience. furthermore, those lead to anger and disappointment. all these can cause humans to be in a way, "sinful" towards each other. lucky for me, before those emotions piled, i saw the car arrive. LoL!
ok, back to the black box. most of the time in the box, i guess the person would be waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting...... get my point? there's too much time till a person starts to ponder upon so many things. furthermore, when a person is placed in a black box, naturally, fear will be instilled due to the unknowns of whatever the "torturers" would do. then, the person has to fight with their own hunger, their restriction of movements during this time of "waiting".
another scenario, waiting for examination results. most people are so nervous till they breakdown even before they have a look at their scores. LoL! the waiting period makes them think too much and start to imagine the worst case scenario. in the end, the person would be so stressed up just thinking about all those rubbish.
ok, my brain kind of stopped functioning all of a sudden. shucks (dolphins!). but you all get my point right? haha.
and!! i managed to write something thought-provoking!! haha. well, at least to me. xD
